Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 July 2026
This policy explains what information EmCube collects when you visit emcube.co or engage EmCube for consulting work, how that information is used, and the choices you have. EmCube is a mobile attribution and measurement consultancy operated by Muffaddal Qutbuddin, who is the data controller for the information described below.
Information collected
Analytics data
This site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the site. This collects standard web analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring source, and interactions such as clicks and scroll depth. This is processed on the basis of EmCube's legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site, or your consent where applicable.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish one visitor from another across sessions. EmCube does not use this data to identify you personally, and does not combine it with any other dataset to do so.
Information you provide directly
If you email EmCube, book a call, or make contact through a listed profile such as Fiverr or Upwork, the information you send is retained so the enquiry can be answered and any resulting engagement managed. This typically includes your name, email address, company, and whatever you choose to tell us about your measurement setup. This is processed to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, or to perform that agreement once made.
Client data during an engagement
Consulting work often requires access to client systems: mobile measurement partner accounts, analytics platforms, ad network dashboards, cloud data warehouses, and similar. Any such access is granted by the client, used only for the agreed scope of work, and governed by the engagement agreement rather than by this page. EmCube does not sell, share, or reuse client data outside that engagement.
How information is used
- To respond to enquiries and deliver agreed consulting work.
- To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
- To meet accounting, tax, and contractual obligations.
EmCube does not sell personal information, and does not run advertising retargeting on this site.
Third-party services and international transfers
A small number of providers process data on EmCube's behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Google (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager): site analytics.
- Vercel: website hosting and delivery. Standard server logs, including IP addresses, are processed as part of serving the site.
- Google Workspace: email correspondence.
These providers may process data outside the country you are visiting from, including in the United States. Where this involves a transfer of personal data protected under UK or EU law, it is made under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard provided by that processor.
Cookies
The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and are used for measurement only. You can block or delete them in your browser settings without losing access to any part of the site. Browser-level controls such as Global Privacy Control, and Google's own Analytics opt-out add-on, also work here.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months from collection, the default window configured in Google Analytics, after which it is automatically deleted. Correspondence and client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and to satisfy legal and accounting requirements, then deleted.
Security
EmCube takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information described in this policy, including restricting access to correspondence and client records to those who need it to deliver the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and this is not a guarantee.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information EmCube holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is processed, or request a copy in portable form. To exercise any of these, email muffaddal@emcube.co. Requests are answered within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. EmCube does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date at the top of the page.
